We are all about worship at King of Kings. Time in God’s house, around God’s Word, with God’s people can set a wonderful tone for the rest of the week. It’s a rehearsal for what God’s children will do as families and individuals throughout the week and renews the strength and grace needed to face the spiritual and physical challenges that come. Christian Education is a lifelong privilege and opportunity. A combined teen and adult Bible class meets at church every Sunday before worship, led by equipped and engaging pastors. The subject matter differs each week, but the focus is always on God’s Word and its application to our specific lives at this specific time. To find out what we are studying or to register yourself this Sunday morning class, please simply show up on a Sunday morning or contact us.

Other Bible studies are offered from time to time throughout the year. Often these studies are on a specific topic like baptism, End Times, etc. or a book of the Bible. They usually last only a couple of weeks and offer a chance to get a deeper understanding of some portion of the Bible’s teachings. If you would like to be notified when a new class starts, please contact us with that request.  

 

About twice a year, an introductory-level Bible class is offered for teens or adults who are either looking to learn more about the Bible, learn more about what our church teaches and believes, become a member of our church, or review and refresh what they have already learned from the Bible. This is probably the most fascinating and beneficial class we offer at King of Kings. If you know anyone who might be interested in attending, please contact us.

 

The Phoebe Sisters are a fellowship and service-oriented group within King of Kings. Made up of women, this group meets to plan social events, organizes visits and assistance to those in need, and helps with the implementation of various church activities. If you would like to learn more about being active in or served by the Phoebe Sisters, please contact us.

 

If you have a wedding coming up and would be interested in having a church ceremony with an ordained pastor, please contact us for more information. We would be happy to talk with you about your wedding and the possibility of offering our services and/or facilities. Whether you have an interest in a marriage ceremony or not, we also offer free pre-marriage classes to help you and your future spouse to strengthen your relationship and start your marriage on a solid foundation of faith.

 

Whether you have a specific issue that you need counseling with or simply want to strengthen your marriage and relationship, our pastor and support team can offer Christian counseling. If you are approaching an anniversary and want a ceremony to recommit yourselves to each other and the God who has joined you together, we are also happy to talk with you about helping you plan that or officiating that. For either of these needs, please contact us.

 

Our pastor or support team would be glad to offer Christian counseling for many matters, including grief support, substance abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse, debt crisis and much more. Please contact us to arrange a time in your schedule to talk about how we can help.

 

Some people have a difficult time leaving their homes for a variety of reasons. Our pastor and members are currently active in visiting a number of people who are home bound with either a devotion and/or a friendly chat. If you would be in need of a visit or be interested in making these kinds of visits, please contact us. 

 

Throughout the year, we hold events to strengthen the unity within our church and enjoy good Christian company and fun. Our events include game nights, hoedowns, church picnics, Easter and Mother’ Day breakfasts, Bunco parties, camp-outs, and much more.  If you would like to be notified when events like these are upcoming, please contact us.
