“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. (Luke 18:16) This was Jesus’ response to people who were bringing their nursing babies to him. A relationship with Jesus cannot begin to early. Starting already at infancy, faith can exist and needs to be strengthened. Like many other aspects of life, what is done to support and foster a faith during childhood will impact the rest of a person’s life. Below you will find ministries we offer to assist parents in the spiritual care of their children.
Worship – Every Sunday @ 10 AM & 6 PM
The Bible tells us to train a child in the way he should go, so that when he is old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6) We believe this command has major applications to a child’s spiritual life including worship. If children are to one day bring themselves and their own children to worship, then they are served well by seeing that example from their parents. Will they make noises? Sure. Will they retain everything? No, but neither do any of us. Our worship services are structured with the attempt to allow families to worship and grow in faith together. After all, God’s Word itself is the pool of his grace which is shallow enough for youngsters to wade in and, at the same time, deep enough so that no one will ever run out of room to explore.

Children, ages 3 – 12, gather every Sunday in classes to learn a Bible story and apply it their lives. Qualified and caring teachers teach the story so that, by the end of the class, children can teach it back to them and each other through words, songs, drawings and other crafts. While children who come regularly tend to benefit from seeing the common themes in each lesson, each class does stand alone, allowing children to benefit from attending only once. If you are interested in enrolling your child free for occasional or regular attendance, please contact us with the attending child’s name and and age or simply bring them to King of Kings at 8:45 AM on a Sunday morning.
