“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” This opening line for A Tale of Two Cities is probably a fair description of adolescence. This is a time of exploring, dreaming, questioning, testing, and straying. It can be the best and the worst. Since there is so much uncertainty and irregularity at this time of life, the ever-constant Word of God becomes an all-important tool for finding answers, boundaries, and direction. Below you will find a list of ministries we offer to assist parents and teens through this wonderfully challenging stage of life.
Worship – Every Sunday @ 10 AM & 6 PM
The members of most families are going in separate directions during the majority of each day’s waking hours. While worship is really a Christian’s entire life lived for God, a specific hour set aside each week in God’s house allows families the opportunity to connect with each other around the grace of God in Jesus. Our worship seeks to be relevant, engaging, and Christ-centered. Unplug from the stress and demands of your life for an hour, and plug into the rejuvenating power of God’s Word.

Teen Bible Class – Every Sunday @ 8:45 AM
Christian Education is a lifelong privilege and opportunity. A combined teen and adult Bible class meets at church every Sunday before worship, led by equipped and engaging pastors. The subject matter differs each week, but the focus is always on God’s Word and its application to our specific lives at this specific time. To find out what we are studying or to register yourself or your teen for this class, please simply show up on a Sunday morning or contact us.

Catechism Class – Weekly during the School Year
All teens (often 7th and 8th graders) are invited to a weekly Bible class that is held during the school year on a week night (specific day is determined by participants’ schedule each year). This class teaches the basic truths of the Bible and applies them to this stage of life. The students spend time working with each other and have opportunities to hone their skills of reading and relating God’s Word. After completing this class, if they so desire, the students are invited to receive the Lord’s Supper. Teens are also welcome to simply attend the class to learn more about the Bible with no obligations. If you are or have a teen interested in enrolling in our current or next class, please contact us.

Teen Group – Occasional Weekends or Evenings throughout the Year
Events are planned throughout the year to give teens a chance to get together outside of school, their homes, and even church. These events include bowling, skating, fishing, camping, going to water parks, youth rallies, and much more. The purpose of these events is to allow kids to interact in a safe, Christian  environment and give them opportunities to let faith flow into action. If you would like to be notified about upcoming events, please contact us with that request.

Summer Camp – Every July
Anyone age 9-16 is invited to an annual Christian camp at Camp Wooten near Dayton, WA. Campers get to learn life skills, make friendships, and participate in exciting activities in a Christian atmosphere. If you have interest in more information for the next camp, please contact us.

Prayer – Anytime
“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16) If you or your teen are in need of a public or private prayer for any reason, please fill out our prayer request form. We would love the opportunity to speak with God on your behalf.
